Programs
TEAM TRAINING AND COACHING: Centre for Excellence provides excellent, highly qualified and professional trainers and coaches for teams. We also provide supplementary one hour training for groups of players on a team to compliment their regular team practices, and private training for individuals.
TEAM CONTINUITY PROGRAM: This is one of CFE's most popular programs. We work with teams right after their season for continuity and improvement. This program specializes on team formation in terms of the formation or way to play based on the personnel, areas of team improvement, and we provide any necessary recommendations. We work with teams to ensure more success and better individual and team play. Every team we have worked with has had a better season the following season and subsequent seasons. We continue to work with most of these teams through out the year.
SUMMER: Our summer programs are called SUMMER OF IMPROVEMENT CAMPS because a week with us will produce a completely different player and team, guaranteed. We conduct a series player camps through out the month of July and August. All our series camps are for one week in the mornings from 9-12pm except for # 3 below, which is from 1pm-2:30pm.
1) Player development camp: This camp is strictly for players ages 8-10. The focus is on teaching them the complete basics of soccer; Touch, trapping, receiving, movement, proper techniques, dribbling, and passing.
2) Goal scoring and shooting camp ($275): The focus of this camp is to help teach players how to score goals and create goal scoring chances. Pure and simple, knowing how to score goals is, knowing where the goal is at all times, positioning one’s self well at all times, and taking chances. After spending a lot of time with players, and teams, we created this camp as part of our many series because one thing we have noticed is that many players struggle to score goals at a good rate.
3) Technical skills, speed and agility camp ($150): The main focus of this camp is technical skills knowledge, refining, sharpening, and learning, as well as knowing when, how, and where to use certain skills. Physical speed, mental speed of play, quick feet, and being agile as a player is as vital in a player’s development as anything else.
4) Complete Player Development camp ($275): This camp focuses on teaching the player what it takes to become an all around complete soccer player through scenarios, situational play, and thinking methods.
5) Team Camps (Mornings 9-12pm or evenings 430pm-730pm) ($195): We conduct two types of team camps. Both camps are customized and tailored to each teams needs.
Individual Team Camp: We only work with one team for 3 hours a day for a period of one week, or two straight weeks, to get the team ready for the season
Two-Team Combo Camp: We conduct a camp for two teams of around the same age group and gender at the same time in the same location, working with each team on their specific needs, for 2 straight hours, and scrimmaging the last 45-minutes to an hour each day for a week or two to apply the days work and knowledge in a game-like situation. Since we started the two-team combo camp, it has become very popular, and sometimes teams do two straight weeks where by they play a different team each week. We work directly with the teams to match them up during the camp.
WINTER PROGRAMS ($160): We offer both indoor and outdoor team training during the winter months. The idea behind this program is to provide a good bridge of continuity and improvement between the fall and spring season. For the winter, we offer a 5-week training program and an 8-week program. The programs normally start in Early January till Mid March and run for an hour and half to two hours.
We also provide an hour and half 8 week strict foot skills sessions for the winter months.
SPRING AND AUTUMN PROGRAMS: During the Spring and fall season, we provide well qualified, professional trainers and coaches for team training and coaching.
FOOT/TECHNICAL SKILLS: Centre for Excellence provides a 10 week foot skills training during the fall and spring seasons. The fall session begins first week in September, and ends second week in November. The spring sessions starts first week in April and ends second week in June. The sessions run from 10-12pm every Saturday mornings in our Springfield or Fairfax locations. These sessions are for teams or individual players. Our foot skills programs are some of the best you will ever find around because they focus on realistic, and productive skills which a player can use everyday in practice and games to improve and compliment their abilities as a player.
EXCELLENCE IN GOAL KEEPER: We offer a 5 week, 8 week, and year round excellence in goal keeping training for aspiring goal keepers, conducted by the well accomplished Matt Henson. The emphasis will be on reaction, diving, technique, positioning, directing a defense, knowing how to command fear in opposing players, and how to establish your territory.

You can currently catch the UEFA Champions League games on ESPN 2 and ESPN Classic at 2:24pm to 4:30pm and 5pm to 7pm respectively every other Tuesday and Wednesday starting the week of September 18th and 19th all the way through mid May.
