DAILLY AND STAFF MEMBER JULIE PAGE, WILL BE TRAVELLING TO AFRICA WITH NON-PROFIT AFFILIATE FUTBOL FOR CHANGE TO CONDUCT FREE SOCCER CAMPS IN JUNE AND JULY 2008. AS MR. DAILLY PUTS IT, "ITS AMAZING WHAT THE GAME OF SOCCER AND SPORTS IN GENERAL CAN DO FOR SOME OF THESE LESS PRIVILEDGED KIDS AROUND THE WORLD. Centre for Excellence is partnering with Futbol for a change, a non profit organization established to conduct soccer clinics and camps to under privileged children, in poor neighborhoods in the United States, in Africa and other Third World Countries.

Comets Win Columbus Tourney October 18, 2007

The Comets are led by coaches Bill Edgar, Emil Ravesteijn, and Dave Young. The Comets players include, Ainsley Edgar, Jeanne Ernest, Audra Kim, Alison Maillett, Raina Mittal, Anna Moschella, Hannah Ravesteijn, Reilly Rourke, Nikki Seal, Alyssa Serveiss and Macy Young. Maddie Cybulski was sidelined due to a broken collar bone during seasonal play. The Comets are trained by Radovan pletka jr.

The VYS Comets captured the U9/U10 girls' division championship at the 2nd Annual Great Falls VIP Columbus Day Tournament for Vanessa Péan Foundation. The Comets went undefeated in all four games.
The Comets beat the Reston United Team, 4-3, in a hard-fought game on Saturday morning. Their second game on Saturday ended in a 0-0 draw against the Annandale X- treme Red. Early Sunday morning, the Comets beat the previously undefeated FASA Red Dragons team, 3-1, sending themselves to the finals. The Comets met up with the U10G CYA Black Lightening in the championship game. Previously Black Lightening outscored opponents 14-1 through the first three games. The Comets came out quick, scoring two goals within the first 10 minutes of play. The Comets poured on four more goals to take the title, 6-0.

CURRENT NEWS
You can currently catch the UEFA Champions League games on ESPN 2 and ESPN Classic at 2:24pm to 4:30pm and 5pm to 7pm respectively every other Tuesday and Wednesday. The next stages begin 2nd week in February after taking a two month winterbreak.
